My musical influences are very broad, i listen to mostly everything. I don't discriminate music, music is music. If it bumps it bumps, plain and simple. Denon DNS 3500 cdj's Allen & Heath xone 92 mixer Numark Virtual Vinyl Starting offin1997-98 when i got my first coffin decks. ; mixing anything i could get my hands on.. things started looking better 6 years ago when i finally got some light portable cd decks wasnt the best but you gotta start somewhere. ; doing house parties at the age of 16 was great. mixing anything from garage to old school. ; with the garage scene dieing out i moved onto house music. ; at the aged of 18 i was off, dj'n' out in corfu trying to watch, listen and mix with any of the dj's out there. getting pointers and and bit of advice. ; my main help was mos dj's AJ Camilla, Alistar Whitehead and Brain Cheatham. ; Just seeing what they can do and did inspired me to be much more. ; I decided to come back to england get myself a nice place to mix and some new decks. ; making mix tape after mix tape. waiting for that big break. ; weather it comes or not its the music that counts. Hello from Derry, Ireland, from Mp coyle Hello people, i've been on this site from november 2010, just ain't got round to introducting myself. All of my mixes fall mainly into the deep house category, but may tend at times to include a bit of tech house and techno, just to add a bit of colour to the sets, I'm more of a hobbyist than a club dj, as i have never played live in any club, My main influences in all things house would be Carl cox, Peter kruder, Richard dorfmeister,Jimster,Dj hell,Florian meindl,Kaiserdisco,Mladen tomic,Ripperton, Antony pappa, deep child, deep groove, to name but a few, cheers all...Keep er lite!!!

A veteran of the New England dance scene Mike Manson has been playing in New England for nearly 15 years. Starting out in the rave scene in early 1996 and continuing to become one of the residents of the legendary Municipal Cafe. Mike was a resident for 6 years playing every Friday night and his selection of music had refined into a style all his own. Many opportunities arose from this residence and teaming up with Spiritual Emporium, Muck Crew, and Columns of Knowledge as a promoter and a DJ earlier on helped his DJ career move forward. Once established as a professional DJ in New England his adventure into the club scene began. Playing at night clubs and commercial events such as Sunset Session by Room 960, The Ware House, Koji Yakatori, Bocca Rossa, Sullys Pub, Club Therapy, and Room 960. A six month residence with Koji hosting an event called “ I <3 Koji “ and playing top dance tracks every Friday Night. His current residence for Bocca Rossa hosting an event called “ Go Deep “ and " Ibiza Lounge " playing every Friday and Saturday Night. Both venues are located in Downtown Hartford and Mike can be found somewhere in this little city every weekend. Hosting a podcast starting in early 2010 on podOmatic.com called " Mike Manson's The Cast ". It’s a popular podcast and is featured daily and is one of the top 200 house music podcasts on the site containing an estimated 250,000 podcast users. Mike can also be found on Itunes in the Podcast Store and all of his sets are free to download. Most noted for his " Half an Hour " episodes and " Live at the Event " pre-recorded sets. Starting a new venture with online live radio on an up and coming show called Boom-Box Radio with friends and fellow local DJs is the next step in Mikes online djing future. Although Mike has been DJing for so long he is still learning from each show and that can be seen by the technologies he has begun to utilize and how threcreativity in the music he plays now is effected. Converting to Traktor Scratch Pro and utilizing Native Instruments Kontrol X1 and Maschine to bring his creativity to new heights. With the digital age of DJing in full swing Mike has made sure to keep with the times and trends of his craft. Specializing in House, Tech House, and Minimal House He's sure to bring a great vibe to any show he's involved in.
